Annual Meeting - The Tim Horton Challenge

The Annual Meeting was held at St. James on Jan. 29. Rob Young and Rev. John did a great job of casting a vision for our future as a church - see above. We're in a tough spot financially, but as John said, often God tries to get our attention through matters of money. Well, God is calling out for us to be a faithful, risk-taking, Jesus-centred community. As Fred Brown said at the meeting, if we all gave up about 5 cups of coffee a week at Tim Horton's - young and old alike - we wouldn't have a money problem at all. Can we honour God with our coffee money? You bet! God wants to do great things at St. James!
